Arterial Dissection
Recommendation
1- Stroke or TIA after arterial dissection of extracranial type —> Antithrombotic therapy for at least 3 months
2- Stroke or TIA in less than 3 months of extracranial arterial dissection —> Use aspirin or warfarin
3- Stroke or TIA with extracranial arterial dissection —> Recurrence despite antithrombotic therapy —> Consider endovascular therapy
